The store will close on Wednesday, November 13 @ 11:59pm EST. All orders must be made by this date and time in order for your swimmer to have the required apparel for the swim season. You must make your purchases within the time frame in order for your items to ship without extra cost to you!! Thank you all for being so patient with the apparel! We have been working hard to get everything smoothed out! I just wanted to update you that the online apparel store will be up VERY, VERY soon! There will be a short ordering window. Please look for the email including the live ordering link to come to your inbox by Friday! I am hoping it will be available even sooner than that— FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Franklin Family,

Despite an overwhelming response from Franklin Families and many people reaching out, we will not be taking any more donations due to one substantial donation. I’m unsure if this family wishes to be named, so for now, we will call it an “anonymous donor.” If I find that this person doesn’t care, I’ll be sure to leak it, so our kids can show a bit of appreciation for the new fridge.

This person reached out within 20 mins of my obituary email, and we’ve been nailing down the perfect fridge that will take us through the next 10-15 years. She’s scheduled for deliver on Tuesday after school, where we will also bid good-bye to our wonderful fridge of the past 12 years.

I’ll be returning all marked monies to the athletes to return home. Perhaps there comes a later day where something might be coming down the pipeline and we can beg for loose change again. I’m very proud to call this my home and I’m so proud that so many people want to support the program at seemingly every turn.

Thanks for being wonderful. I appreciate your time, passion, patience… and in this case, offering of monies.

FCHSSnD Family,

I write you with deep regret to inform you that our Franklin Fridge, a young lady that has served us well for many years, is failing_. As she grows older, she grows slower. Her hips aren’t failing and there’s no arthritis to be found in her knees, but she’s just not as cold as she used to be_.

Our Franklin Fridge came to us in 2007, when the school was built, and she provided to many kids over that 12 year run. The fruits of her labor were plentiful, but today we’re looking at taking out a life insurance policy on her. ;-) Don’t fret for her, she lived a good life, and she will be happy in a place where she can be with other “retired” fridges.

We are looking for your help to purchase something within the next month that will give to our kids, and the next four years of kids, and those kids after that. The next fridge will chill the chocolate milky nutrition in the morning and make sure our next round of 500+ breakfast casseroles are still good for a post-school snack.
