UPS is promising delivery of suits (girls only) and caps tomorrow, Nov. 22. This will be just in time for the girls’ meet on Saturday! (Insert a SIGH of relief)

If the suits and caps arrive before the end of practice on Friday, someone will be there to pass them out to our athletes. If not…someone will come to the Saturday morning practice before the meet in order to make these available.

Each athlete will be given a latex cap to start the season. Extra caps will need to be purchased. This year we are excited to be offering silicone caps for $15 each. Many swimmers prefer them over the latex ones! If your swimmer is interested in purchasing a silicone cap or two, he/she can do so tomorrow or Saturday.

This is just a reminder from Coach DeWitt about the Nov. 23 practice and meet:
Saturday: Boys practice will begin at 6:45, where as the girls will begin at 7am. The Girls meet against CG will begin at 10am, where the boys will be expected to stay and help time. The meet will be over by 11:30.

If you are receiving this email, please accept my apologies. The previous announcement was deleted by yours truly(Jennifer)! Due to school being closed tomorrow, here is some quick info about November 19.

1. There will be morning practice. Practice will be from 5:45-7:50. Please note the later end time. Hot breakfast will not be served due to athletes leaving to go home directly following practice.

2. Athletes will need to return to school at 3:50 in order to be prepared for team pictures. There will be no “water” practice in the afternoon because of this picture schedule.

3. Warm-ups will be passed out to athletes who have returned the appropriate paperwork!

Monday AM: GP only 5:45-7:05am
Monday PM: ALL 3:15-5:30pm
Tuesday AM: ALL 5:45-7:50am
Tuesday PM: Pictures only 3:50-4:30pm
Wednesday: GC 3:15-5:15, GP 3:15-5:45pm
Thursday AM: GP 5:45pm-7:05am
Thursday PM: ALL 3:15-5:30pm
Friday AM: GP 5:45-7:05am
Friday PM: ALL 3:15-5pm
Saturday AM: Boys 6:45-9:30am, but timing 10am-11:30am. Girls: 7-9:30practice, Meet 10-11:30am

A few special notes:
Tuesday: Practice will be from 5:45-7:50am. There will be pictures only in the afternoon (no practice). You should report at 3:50 for the pictures in the PM. The pictures are expected to last from 3:50-4:30pm only.

This is the final reminder to order online apparel. (Find the links in the previous post on Team Pages) The swimmers’ apparel store will close at 11:59 pm (TONIGHT- NOV.13). There are required items for boys and girls. Thank you for your patience with the apparel this year as we navigated the process ! Keep your eyes open for the possibility of a Spirit Store with more clothing options for fans!

Also, Coach DeWitt is finalizing the roster! Franklin Swim and Dive is looking to have around 61 athletes! Get ready for a great season in the pool!

This is just a friendly reminder that the apparel stores are open for both men and women athletes! Please make sure your athlete has ordered the required apparel before the store closes on Wednesday, November 13 at 11:59pm (EST)! This is only a couple days away!!! Parents feel free to order items for yourself as well!

Tomorrow, November 12 is the suit fitting for ALL swimmers needing a high school suit! If you have paid for a suit or plan on ordering one tomorrow, Robin from Elsmore will be at the pool immediately following afternoon practice. Please remind your swimmer to get fitted for a suit by trying one on so that the correct size can be ordered! Please reach out to the parent reps with any questions on these items!
