You know the drill! There’s been a 2HR delay called by Dr. Clendening, which means our AM practice will be pushed back by two hours. As of now, we will be practicing from 7:45-9:05am.

If there is a cancellation, we will know before 5:30am, and this will be communicated immediately. Additionally, we will be given a time to practice (if possible) later on in the AM. Generally speaking, it’s in the afternoon.

As we approach Round 2 of Monday’s snow, Dr. Clendening and Bill Doty have decided that the school will close at 5pm tonight. All athletic practices will end at that time, which means that parents should plan on picking up FCHSSnD athletes at 5pm promptly.

It is their effort that athletes begin making their way home before the roads begin to get too bad.

We will get the athletes out of the water at 4:55pm, and they’ll be expected to get dressed rather quickly.

I am sorry about all the emails lately, but email is the easiest way to get the word out. If you had questions about this season’s apparel, keep reading. It’s a long one, but I tried to break it down by questions. If you had no questions about apparel, you can delete this email…NOW!

After emailing the apparel company and hearing nothing in return, I reached out to them via phone. Here are the answers I received to the apparel questions I had been asked by some of you:

1. The size I ordered does not fit correctly, can I exchange the product?
Unfortunately, since all apparel contains our logo, we are not able to exchange apparel that is ill-fitting.

2. * If I ordered the wrong size, can I reorder the correct size?*
Since the apparel store officially closed, ordering a new size of an item would raise the cost significantly. You would be charged the set up fee to print the item again and a shipping fee.

3. Some of my items are on back order. When will I get them?
The apparel company has contacted their Adidas rep. They are waiting to hear back from the rep on when those items might be restocked. According to the company, they have been having a lot of problems with Adidas stock. If they will not be restocked and shipped to us in a timely manner for your athlete to wear for the remainder of the season, you will receive a refund. I will continue to stay in contact with the apparel company and will update you next week if not sooner.

4. The sizes of some of my apparel was changed on my order form without my permission. What can be done?
Some orders had a handwritten note saying that the size of a certain item had been changed due to no stock in that item. The apparel company could not fill your size order because all the stock in that item was gone by the time our store closed…so your item’s size was changed to the next size up by the apparel company. Therefore, if you are one of these people with the handwritten note of a size change that you did not make you have two options:
a. The size change was ok for your athlete. Your athlete can wear the apparel even though the size was changed by the company, it worked out for you. Nothing needs to be done.
b. The size change was not ok for my athlete. The size change caused my athlete to be unable to wear the apparel this season. If this is the case for you, please send me your name/athlete’s name and what apparel had the size changed without your permission by Monday, Dec 16. . (The company will already know the items, but I want to send that info as documentation.) After I send this info, the company has promised to refund your money on the up-sized apparel. Please only send this info. if your order was changed without your permission and documented with a handwritten note on your order form.
