It's Time For County! Let's Fill the Stands!
Come and support the athletes tomorrow, Dec. 18 as they compete in the County Meet at Center Grove High School.
Here are the details that were sent to me:
7:00 am Facility opens for the teams (athletes)
7:15 am Pool is open for swimming warm-ups
8:30 am Doors open to the public
8:45 am Competition pool closes for warm-up
9:00 am Competition begins
Let’s show out support by filling the stands! Come cheer on our athletes! See you at the pool!
Training Trip Paperwork: Please Read
I sent home a field trip permission form as well as a medical release form with the swimmers who were at practice yesterday afternoon. The 2 papers must be filled out and signed by a parent in order for your child to attend the training trip. I placed a tray in the hospitality room where the students can place the completed forms. We need these back ASAP!
I will also bring these 2 forms to the meet on Thursday at Martinsville and to the County Meet on Friday just in case your son/daughter did not bring them home or was not at practice to get them from me.
Attendance at the Dec 30-31 training trip is very highly encouraged. I do need to get a final head count. If your son/daughter is unable to attend, please send me a text or email so that I can remove him/her from the trip roster. Based on the training trip payment at the beginning of the season, my records show that MOST athletes will be in attendance.
Divers have not received the forms yet. Please check your email inbox diving parents for a special Training Trip email from me.

Meet Info for the Week
Here is a short email to start your planning for this week.
There is a meet at Martinsville on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 5:30. Travel Release Forms will be provided if you are in need of one. Please make sure you have signed and given one of those to a parent rep by then end of the meet.
County is COMING!
This year the meet will be held at the Center Grove High School pool. Here is a snapshot of the timeline. Athletes will get more info from their coaches on when they should arrive and their timeline for the day.
Friday, Dec. 17— Diving only
5:30 pm Doors open to the public
6:00 pm Competition begins
Saturday, Dec 18— Swimming
8:30 am Doors open to the public
9:00 am Competition Begins- timed finals (should only last through the morning)

If your son or daughter is not involved in the FRST Club Meet this weekend, you can ignore this post! (But, just know the club team is always looking for passionate swimmers. Check it out anytime! )
This weekend is the brand new FRST Holiday Season Slam. So many individuals behind the scenes have been working overtime to make sure this meet is fun, fast, and festive. But, they can’t do it all! That is where YOU come in. There are still many volunteers spots unfilled in the Senior Session. Please, please, please take the time to check and see if you can volunteer to fill these spots so that the meet can run smoothly. There is a great need on Friday night, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening!!! These are the older swimmers session mainly!!
I know that in the midst of high school season- our minds leave club for awhile. But they are reaching out for much needed help from the Senior Parents for this weekend’s meet. All hands on deck!

1. Log into your Team Unify account on the FRST website and you will see the FRST Holiday Slam meet as you scroll to the bottom and click on job sign-up.
