We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Here are a few things that you many want to know for the week:

1. Due to the limited capacity of the Shelbyville pool facility, the spectators for Tuesday’s meet will be limited to HOME FANS only. The Shelbyville athletic department extends an apology for any inconvenience that this may cause. They are working on a LIVE streaming plan so that Franklin Fans can watch the meet as well. We will get that link information out to you ASAP! Thank you for your understanding.

2. The Hall of Fame Meet is coming up this Saturday. It will be a fast competitive meet, but it will be slightly different than in previous years. Due to the amount of athletes at this meet as well as safe social distancing guidelines, spectators will not be allowed in the Franklin pool facility during this meet. Once we get information on LIVE streaming plans, we will pass that info onto you. If you have signed up to volunteer during this meet, please know that we will be running only one timed Finals session starting at 1:00. For now, we will need volunteers to arrive around 12:30. If this time changes, I will let you know ASAP.

3. As the snow season approaches, it is possible for a 2 hour delay to be called for the school day. If this happens, practice is then delayed 2 hours as well. If this happens on a Tuesday or Thursday, we are hopeful that hot breakfast can still be served to our athletes. Instead of having hot breakfast set up at the normal 6:45 am time, hot breakfast would need to be set up and ready to serve by 8:45 am. Please do not forget to add your name and cell number when you sign up to serve hot breakfast. This helps your group coordinate food as well as contact each other in instances of school delays.

4. Apparel is set to arrive some time during the beginning of December. Apparel ordered from Fan Cloth will be shipped directly to your home. Apparel ordered from Kratz will be shipped to the school and then passed out to the athletes. I will send communication via Team Pages when that apparel is passed out so that you can look for it to come home.
