Parents of FCHSSND Female Athletes,
Championship Season is right around the corner so I wanted to give you all a heads up as to what to expect. I have sent this email to “ALL Parents” because I do not want to miss anyone. All female athletes are included in the events listed below. So, if you have a male athlete, feel free to read and take in the information. Your championship season will be very similar but you can disregard for the time being. Keep in mind, parents of male athletes are responsible for timing Sectional finals on February 2nd.

Important Dates
*+*Monday, January 21st*+
Fast skin suit fitting at the FCHS natatorium @10:00am. This gives every athlete competing an opportunity to purchase a fast skin at discount prices.**MORE INFORMATION TO COME

*+*Tuesday, January 22nd+*
Senior Night
Seniors will receive gifts, walk out with parents, and receive photo albums from parent(s).

*+*Thursday, January 24th+*
Decorate locker room (theme: Blue, White, Franklin, Grizzly Cubs)

*+*Saturday, January 26th+*
Team will be heading to the JV INVITE @Lawrence North HS
Sectional posters will be hung in the glass hallway between pool and front office.
Poster instructions: All swimmers/divers will have an individual poster made by their parent. The poster should be 14×22 in size. This is about 1/2 of a poster board. Please use this size poster. The custodial staff gets upset with us when the larger posters (due to their weight) fall during the night and cause the security system to trigger. The smaller poster is much easier to manage with 30 teammates. Feel free to take advantage of the FCHSSND Shutterfly website. Jodi (and Toby) have done a fantastic job capturing great photos of all the athletes. Also, include stickers, favorite quotes, inspirational sayings, etc. to decorate your child’s poster. Please let me or an upper class men parent know if you would like to see a sample poster. Don’t stress over this. Have fun with it! Your child will love it!
Please have posters at the pool by 10:00am. You may hang yours in the glass hallway or place it on the “Lockbox” table in the storage room (at your own risk) and someone will hang it for you.
*Monday, January 28th
Girls will see posters and decorations in the locker room.

*+*Tuesday, January 29th+*
Girls are invited to sectional team dinner at the Terrell’s house @6:00pm (directly after practice). This is a very exciting night outside the pool. It gives the athletes a chance to relax, eat, and spend time together as a team. All swimmers, divers, and coaches will attend.
Girls will receive their sectional t-shirts.

*+*Wednesday, January 30th+*
Girls will stop by the storage room following practice and enjoy the traditional sectional fruit cup.

*+*Thursday, January 31st+*
Girls will come to the storage room during their individual lunch period and enjoy a traditional sectional lunch as a team.
Boys team will time at prelims but a few additional timers will be needed.
All locker room decorations much be taken down by 3:00pm! Sectionals poster can remain.
No Subway is served. Athletes are responsible for eating on their own.
SECTIONAL PRELIMS START @5:30PM.

*+*Friday, February 1st+*
Girls will wear sectional t-shirts to school.
Practice as normal per Coach DeWitt.

.*+*Saturday, February 2nd++*
Girls diving begins @9:00am.
Swimming sectional finals begins @1:00pm
Boy parents are responsible for volunteering to time and work concessions per Volunteer Spot.
