Here is a list of need to know items for this week:

1. If you are serving breakfast on any Tuesday or Thursday mornings, please come in door 12. Have your items set-up and ready to go by 6:45. You may have to wait for a few minutes, but we want to be ready to serves before the athletes are ready to eat. This will alleviate athletes having to group up and wait. Thanks for all you are doing to follow safety protocols!!

2. The Apparel Store deadline has been extended to Nov. 12. Please remember that there are 2 required items for both male and female to have for the season. Please get theses items ordered before the store closes. Thank you!

3. The Spirit Store is opened until Nov 16. Please take a look! We are excited to be able to offer a lot of different spirit options for Swim and Dive and also Franklin athletics. Please see both of the links for these stores in the previous announcement on Team Pages.

4. Male athletes started their season today. Please have your swimmer/diver turn in the paperwork and fees to the hospitality room lock box ASAP. It is important that we get all checks/cash deposited and paperwork accounted for before the season really gets underway.

5. If your male athlete needs a suit, we will be at the pool after practice on Wednesday, Nov. 11. All males needing a suit must stay after practice for suit sizing. I am only able to order suits for those individuals who have turned in a suit fee. Please have those in by Wednesday if your swimmer/diver needs a suit for the season.

6. Thank you for signing up to drop off food for the Thanksgiving breakfast. We are so thankful for your generosity. More info about Thanksgiving Breakfast will come out closer to the scheduled date.

7. Finally, I just found out that I will need 2 concession workers for each of the upcoming meets. I will need the concession stand to open up 30 minutes prior to the meet start time. I will add that to November’s sign-up for the Nov. 24 meet. If you are able/want to work concessions for that Nov. 24 meet, you can text me your name at 317-443-2830. Workers do not pay to get in.(BONUS)!! The other worker spots will be added to the sign-up calendars as they are emailed out. Someone will make sure to cover your spot so you will not miss your athlete competing!

Also… we will be fitting male athletes for suits on Nov. 11. If your swimmer/diver is planning on getting a suit, he must stay for the fitting after practice and have his suit fee turned in. Thanks for your help with this.

Also…. almost all girls have been fitted for a suit. We are still waiting on some suit fees before those few suits can be ordered. Please send in those suit fees ASAP if your female athlete is getting a new suit for the season. If your athlete has already returned the suit fee, your order will be placed now. Thanks for your help with this.

The Spirit Store opened today! It will close on Nov. 16. It contains items for athletes, fans, and family. There are Franklin Swim and Dive options as well as Franklin Grizzly Cubs options. Please feel free to share this link with your family and friends. This is a great way to pick up some spirit wear while also earning a few extra dollars for our team.

1. Girl athletes who are purchasing a suit for the season will need to stay after practice Nov. 2 for a quick suit sizing. If your female swimmer is in need of a suit, please make sure her suit fee has been turned in to one of the parent reps or to the lock box in the hospitality room prior to suit sizing. She may also bring her fee to the sizing after practice. Suits can’t be ordered unless the suit fee has been turned in. Thanks for your help with this.

2. Please help us get the season started smoothly by turning in all paperwork and fees ASAP. If you have any questions, please reach out. Forms and money can be given to one of the parent reps or put directly into the lock box in the hospitality room. If you have sold and paid for pizza cards and turned your money into the lock box, we will reach out to you and make sure we get those to you very soon!

The Apparel Store for athletes is LIVE sooner than expected! * The deadline for purchasing items for your athlete OR yourself from this store is Nov. 8.* Please make sure to use the link to purchase the required items for your swimmer/diver BEFORE the store closes on Nov 8. Thank you goes to Kristi, Roxie, and Maureen for serving up our first hot breakfast of the season this morning!!! From what I hear, the food was yummy and the service was smooth and quick. Kristi also put together a short 2 minute video that will show table set-up, where supplies are , and where they should be placed upon clean up. The only thing that was not in the video is how the athletes lined up to be served. As they were in line, a parent walked down the line and gave each athlete a squirt of hand sanitizer so they could safely grab their plate and plastic utensils. PLEASE, PLEASE watch the video BEFORE you go to serve breakfast. We want all our athletes, coaches, and parents safe! If you have any questions, please reach out to either of us.
