Please remember that the $30 Sectional Fee for Male and Female Sectional Athletes is due to the hospitality room lock box by Friday, January 22. Any other Non-Sectional athlete may also order a shirt for $25.

Shirts will ONLY by ordered for those athletes whose money has been put into the lock box by 5:30 this Friday, Jan. 22. Please make check payable to Franklin Swim and Dive. Cash is also accepted. Please make sure the athlete’s name is attached to the money or check. Shirts are only available to athletes. Due to the quick turn around, we will not be ordering for fans or family members at this time.

It’s time to start thinking about Sectional Posters for ALL GIRL ATHLETES!! We would like every female athlete who swam on the FCHS Swim and Dive team this season to have a poster!

Here are some things to know about these posters:
1. ALL swimmers/divers will have an individual poster made by their parent. This will hang in the school building during Sectional week. Posters are due by Jan 30. at 9:00 am.
2. The poster should be 14×22 in size. This is about 1/2 of a poster board. Please use this size poster. The custodial staff gets upset with us when the larger posters (due to their weight) fall during the night and cause the security system to trigger.
3. Feel free to take advantage of the FCHSSND Shutterfly website. Directions for getting on this site were in a different Team Pages email. We know there are limited pictures this year so feel free to use personal pictures or pictures from past seasons. The pictures don’t all have to include swimming.
4. Also, include stickers, favorite quotes, inspirational sayings, etc. to decorate your child’s poster. I have listed some instructions for viewing poster examples from the past. Find the directions below.
5. Don’t stress over this. Have fun with it! It’s one of the celebrations of the season that we all look forward to. Your child will love it!

Please have posters to the pool by 9:00 am on January 30. Posters that are brought to the pool before then can be put on top of the lock box in the hospitality room. I will keep an eye out for these and make sure they are kept safe before I hang them in the school hallway on January 30. I will send more info about that a little later.

Directions for finding example posters on Team Pages:
1. Go to the top of the Team Pages website.
2.Click on the MEDIA tab.
3. Select photos from the drop down menu.
4.When a group of albums appears, click on the album titled Sectional Poster Examples.
5. These are just examples of past posters. I hope these are helpful.

Sectional Shirt Money (All Athletes):

Due to the constraints of this COVID season, this information is different from years past. Please read!!

Both male and female Sectional Shirts are being designed! For those male and female athletes on the Sectional Teams, we ask that you purchase a Sectional Shirt to be worn the week of the Sectional Meets. Shirts are also available for purchase for those athletes who are not swimming in the Sectional Meets. Please remember that we did not collect this Sectional Fee at the beginning of the season as in years past.

PAYMENT FOR SHIRTS (both male and female) MUST BE TURNED INTO THE LOCK BOX IN THE HOSPITALITY ROOM BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 22 IN ORDER FOR YOUR SHIRT ORDER TO BE PLACED. Please make sure the athlete’s name is attached to the money. We have already collected the sizes from the athletes.

According to the coach, your son/daughter should be able to tell you what category below he/she would fall into.

It’s time to start thinking about Sectional Posters for ALL GIRL ATHLETES! For those new to the high school team, an informative email about these posters will come out tomorrow. Posters should be turned in to the hospitality room by January 29. Poster size should be no more than 14X22 (approximately 1/2 of a poster board). Check your email tomorrow for all the details!

Here is the link to the Conference Swim Meet this Saturday at Franklin. Please remember that no spectators are allowed at the pool. You must pay to access the live feed for this link. I believe there is an option to prepay if you are wanting to work on that ahead of time. The boys’ session is scheduled to start at 9:00 am. The girls’ session will get underway at 2:30 pm.

Also, if you have agreed to volunteer tomorrow, please know how much we appreciate the donation of your time. Your name will be on a list at the athletic entrance. Please just check in before entering the pool. Do not forget to bring your mask as you will be required to wear it during the entire event.

Volunteers for the boys’ session should arrive around 8:15. Volunteers for the girls’ session should be there around 1:45. I know this seems early, but we want to make sure everyone is set and present before the meet starts.
